The Pioneers (3-5, 1-2 CCAA) and Otters (5-4, 1-2 CCAA) will play each other for the second straight weekend, with tip-off scheduled for 3 p.m.
WEEKLY RECAP
East Bay pulled off a 77-74 win over Monterey Bay at Pioneer Gymnasium last Saturday, their first victory in CCAA competition. The Pioneers had one of their most efficient shooting nights of the season (46.7 percent) and led by as many as 12 in the first half. The Otters rallied all the way back to take a six-point lead midway through the second half, but the Pioneers used a 10-1 run to regain the lead. They made some big defensive plays down the stretch and took advantage of some shaky CSUMB free throw shooting to hang on for the win.
