The 2011 WWPA Women's Championship is set to be hosted by Cal State East Bay at Chabot College in Hayward, Calif. April 29-May 1. The tournament will feature all nine WWPA teams, including 2010 WWPA champion and NCAA semifinalist Loyola Marymount.
The nine teams will kick off the tournament on April 29 with first round games beginning at 9 a.m. at the Chabot College Pool. The event will continue on Saturday with semifinals and consolation games before culminating with the 2011 WWPA Championship game on Sunday, May 1 at 1:30 p.m., with the winner earning the conference's automatic berth into the 2011 NCAA Women's Water Polo Championship to be held May 11-13 at the University of Michigan.
