HAYWARD, Calif. — The No. RV Cal State East Bay women's basketball team gears up for a road trip to Southern California this week, as the Pioneers are set for road contests at Cal State San Bernardino on Thursday, Jan. 27, beginning at 5:30 p.m., before taking on Cal Poly Pomona on Saturday, Jan. 29 at 1 p.m.
CSUEB (13-1, 8-0 CCAA) is in first place atop the CCAA standings, has won 12-consecutive games and is receiving votes in the WBCA Top 25 poll for the first time this season.
East Bay has won three of its last four meetings and two in a row against Cal State San Bernardino, including a 57-37 win on Dec. 18. The Pioneers earned a 69-55 home win over Cal Poly Pomona on Dec. 16.
The Pioneers have the top scoring defense in the conference this season, limiting opponents to only 54.6 points per game, and have the second-highest average margin of victory in the CCAA (12.9). 
Junior guard 
Delia Moore ranks 12th in the CCAA in scoring, averaging 12.9 points per contest, and is third in 3-point field-goal percentage (.364).
Freshman 
Taylor Linzie is sixth in the conference in rebounding with 8.1 per game and sophomore guard 
Zhane Duckett is fourth in the conference with 3.4 assists per game.
